Help!

Hello friends of the GWG and members of our group,

as the Meeting in Vienna is coming closer and closer, I think, time is ripe, to ask for financial help to realize this meeting. If there is anyone among you, who would like to be part of this meeting, but can't due to time-dependent problems or health reasons, but nevertheless is fascinated by this wonderful and exciting group of fish, and who would like to support our work in Goodeid conservation, it would be his/her chance to be part of the event by realizing it by funding the speakers arrival and stay. As we don't take any fee from the participants of our meetings, we are dependent on funding, and though my zoo is supporting the meeting with an high amount, it might not be enough as we have exclusively speakers from the American continent this year with expensive flight costs.

Here comes my request: Is anyone among you willing to help our group by funding this meeting? Even smaller amounts are really welcome, so everyone can help us in realizing the event. Finally the surplus will be sent to the Aqualab to support Goodeid conservation, and everyone funding this event will be informed about the whereabouts of his/her money.

However, the meeting has become very important in exchanging ideas and fish as well as in the yearly talks to each other and meeting each other face to face. The meetings encourage international cooperation and therefore have become directly part of Goodeid conservation, so funding this meeting means funding Goodeid conservation.
